Cast Required:

1 - Charity Fundraiser (Male, White, 20-30 years)

Well groomed, slim and a perfectionist; he is a well-off middle-class man, raising money purely morally. He distances himself from 'lower-class scum'. Facing competition he breaks down his boundaries and extends his reach.

2 - Magazine Seller (Male, White, 35-55 years)

A colloquial and recognisable face in the area, playing off stereotypes of Big-Issue Sellers and homelessness. Grey haired, heavy stubbled; it is obvious his life is in terrible condition. On the job he's dull and lifeless; when competition is introduced he goes the extra mile to make the most money.

3 - Group of Teens (Male, Any, 16-21 years)

A troublesome archetypal group of 'hooded' characters with the pure purpose of causing chaos and spreading fear (approx. 4 members). One is the 'Leader' who initiates the aggressive actions towards Charity Fundraiser.

Plot Outline:

Magazine Seller struggles to raise money in a busy city centre, when Charity Fundraiser appears his day gets more difficult than usual. The two see one another as a threat and try to raise the most donations by any means necessary. As the two try to outwit each other a troublesome gang of youths enter the scene, causing the public to break away along with the Magazine Seller. Charity Fundraiser sees this as an…

A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO LOCAL TALENT DONE GOOD HELPING OUT NEW TALENT

How cool is this...
http://tinyurl.com/5tetgdu

Edgar Wright - (director of Shaun of the Dead, Hott Fuzz, Spaced and Scott Pilgrim versus the World - currently working on the Spielberg Tintin film - for those who don't know - not there would be anyone on the YPFC site who wouldn't right?) has really generously decided to auction off the sign from the Somerfield's in Wells - where Hot Fuzz was shot, to raise money for Somerset Film and the Engine Room for the way it nurtures Somerset's emerging film-making talents.

This comes after another great bit of news last week when an original signed illustration by Nick Park was donated by Aardman Animations to raise funds for a young filmmaker to make it to a festival in Toronto to collect an award for 'Teeth the Musical' an incredibly entertaining animated educational video, made for and with people who have learning disabilities

So a massive massive thank you to the generosity of a local filmmakers done good -

THANKS EDGAR WRIGHT & THANK YOU AARDMAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
